How to Dispute a Copyright Claim on YouTube

Here are the steps which you need to follow in order to dispute a copyright claim on your YouTube video. Now without taking your more time I am taking you right towards the steps which you need to follow;

·         First of all, click the link of disputed video which you have probably received in your mail.

·         After that, click on File a Dispute link on YouTube.

·         Then check mark the option, “I have a license or written permission from the proper right holder to use this material”.

·         Now click on Continue and then check mark another box to confirm your selection.

·         Then again click on Continue.

·         Now you will be on other screen there you need mark the song you are defending and then enter a brief description about dispute. Then mark the two check boxes and click on Continue.

·         Then review your complete dispute and click on Submit Dispute.

·         YouTube will take maximum 30 days to get back to you. In that span of time, video will be present on your channel but monetization will be suspended.
